How to beat Skyla

  • Types that hit the team hard: Electric hits 3 of 3, Rock hits 3 of 3, Ice hits 2 of 3 for double damage or more.
  • Types that take the least from its moves: out of 12 damaging moves on the team: Ghost (immune to 9, but 3 hit for double); Fairy (resists 6, none hit for double); Fighting (resists 3, none hit for double).

Skyla's levels never change, so the fight is the same for every player. If it is too hard, train up, change your moves to hit the types above, or swap a better matchup into the lead slot. Heal your team before you start. See status conditions for what poison, burn and sleep do mid-fight.

Before you go

  • Buy a ticket to Unova at the Airport for $25,000,000. The Airport only sells it once you hold all 8 Sinnoh badges.
  • You can fight any of the eight Unova leaders first. The badge is only given on your first win against Skyla.
