How Gyms work
- Open Pokémon Gyms from the Battle menu, pick your region and press Battle next to a leader.
- You can only fight the Gym leaders of the region you are in. To move on, take the Airport. It sells tickets for cash and needs all 8 badges from the previous region.
- You can take the eight leaders of a region in any order. Each win gives that leader's badge once. Beating a leader again gives no second badge.
- A Gym leader's Pokémon always have the same levels, whatever level your own team is. That is different from the NPC trainers, whose level follows your strongest Pokémon.
