A Pokemon Browser Game with No Download
Pokemon Dusk Reborn is a free, fan-made Pokemon RPG that runs in a web browser. You make a Trainer account, pick a starter and play on a normal web page: explore maps, catch Pokemon, battle Gym Leaders and other players, and trade with the community. There is nothing to install, and your Trainer, team and collection are saved to your account, so you can pick up again from another device.
The game has been running since 2016. Create a free Trainer or read how to play first.
What you need to play
A current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a computer, phone or tablet, an internet connection and a free account. There is no emulator, ROM or installer involved, and nothing runs outside the browser tab.
What a session looks like
You walk a map until a wild Pokemon appears, weaken it in a turn-based battle, then open your Backpack and throw a Poke Ball to catch it. Caught Pokemon go into your collection, and you move the ones you want into an active team of up to six. From there you can challenge Gym Leaders (the main path has 48 Gym badges), fight regular Trainers or battle other players.
Playing on a phone or tablet
Desktop, tablet and phone each have their own layout, and phones get a bottom navigation bar. Maps also have an opt-in full-screen mode with an on-screen D-pad, zoom buttons and shortcuts to your team, bag and Pokedex. Our full-screen map update explains how it works.
Not just a solo game
Trade Pokemon directly with another Trainer, list them in the Auction House, join a clan, battle other players and talk on the maps, in the forums and on Discord. If you prefer a quieter session, you can fish, mine, work on achievements or visit Games Corner instead. The game features page lists every system.
