How to beat Olympia

  • Types that hit the team hard: Dark hits 3 of 3, Ghost hits 3 of 3, Bug hits 2 of 3, Electric hits 2 of 3 for double damage or more.
  • Types that take the least from its moves: out of 10 damaging moves on the team: Ghost (immune to 7, but 2 hit for double); Rock (resists 8, none hit for double); Steel (resists 8, none hit for double).

Olympia's levels never change, so the fight is the same for every player. If it is too hard, train up, change your moves to hit the types above, or swap a better matchup into the lead slot. Heal your team before you start. See status conditions for what poison, burn and sleep do mid-fight.

Before you go

  • Buy a ticket to Kalos at the Airport for $50,000,000. The Airport only sells it once you hold all 8 Unova badges.
  • You can fight any of the eight Kalos leaders first. The badge is only given on your first win against Olympia.
