Wild Pokémon in Safari Zone

Walk around the map and a wild Pokémon will turn up. Each of these can appear, and they are all about equally likely, with the last two a little rarer. A small chance of a shiny version applies to every wild encounter.

Legendary Pokémon

Mesprit can show up here in place of a normal wild Pokémon. Two conditions apply: you need all 48 Gym badges, and a legendary can only be caught with a Legend Ball.
