How to play

Open Slots from the Games Corner and press Pull Lever. Each spin costs 5 coins and needs a coin balance of at least 5. Three reels each land on Meowth, Ekans, Zubat or Staryu, and every one of the four is equally likely on every reel. You can spin again after about a second.

The Slots page with its short rules, the Coin Case balance, a Pull Lever button and the Pikachu Jackpot Paytable listing each combination with its prize and odds per spin.

Every prize includes your 5 coin stake, so a 70 coin match is a profit of 65. Any other result loses the 5 coins. The Pikachu jackpots can only appear on a spin that was not a three-of-a-kind, and the odds above are per spin overall.

What the odds mean

  • Return: the game states a long-run player return of 95.125%, which is 4.875% in the house's favour. On average a spin costs you a little under a quarter of a coin, so 100 spins cost 500 coins and give back about 476.
  • How often you win anything: about 1 spin in 16. Roughly 94 spins in 100 pay nothing.
  • How long a jackpot takes: the 300 coin Pikachu jackpot comes up once in 2,000 spins on average. That is about 10,000 coins of spins for a 300 coin prize.

These are averages. A short run of spins can go far above or far below them, in both directions.

Gambler of the Day

A payout of 300 coins or more counts as a win toward the Gambler of the Day title. That means three Pikachu and every jackpot above it. The 70 coin match and the 100 coin prize do not count. See the 50/50 Game for the prize and how the title is decided.

Good to know

  • If a spin fails for any reason, the game says no coins were taken. A repeated spin request shows the original result and does not charge or pay twice.
  • If your balance is under 5 coins the game says you don't have enough coins to play Slots.
  • Slots is for fun, not for earning coins. For steady coins use the daily routine.
