Hello, I'm Moist and these are the sprites I've made. I am not a professional graphics artist or anything, just someone who likes to try different things. The program I use is paint.net, it's the next step up from Microsoft Paint, and the massively more user-friendly little brother of GIMP, perfect for a novice like myself. Plus it's free.

The sprites in the following comments are in chronological order so you can see how they've evolved or devolved. There are definitely some failed experiments and bad sprites in there, but I figured it'd be fun to showcase those as well. To make sure I don't run out of characters on this post somewhere down the line when I've made a few hundred sprites, I'll only add my favourites and/or notable mentions up here and make a separate comment for each colour down below. Will keep editing the posts and posting updates here, so keep an eye out if you're curious 🐸



Let's get started with the first sprite I made, a haunted Eiscue.



The first time I tried adding something extra to the sprite, gave the mongoose some sick sunglasses.



Tried my hand at making a gif sprite, it didn't come out looking too hot.



This Buizel... liked it so much I kept doing the same type of effect way too often for a while.



Tried making a Halloween themed one and it was pretty nice as well.

Loved the work, however sometimes the effects is overshadowing the sprite of pokemon. Maybe to avoid this I would suggest try to could create a very light/thin glow to differentiate between pokemon & effect.
