Finished the opening Trainer Journey? Good. You now know enough to choose your own route instead of following another checklist.

Pick one goal for your next session

• Build a favourite team: explore maps, catch Pokemon you like and test different team orders.
• Start the Gym path: train your team and challenge leaders from Kanto through Kalos.
• Grow your collection: use the Pokedex, map route guide, trades, auctions and Wonder Trade.
• Try the side games: Games Corner links to contests, gathering activities and minigames with different costs and rewards.
• Own a home: save for an estate, grow Berries and trade produce at the Farmers Market.
• Play with others: browse clans, join community discussions and watch for events.

If you like battles

Open Pokemon Gyms to see all 48 badges. Your lead Pokemon matters, but so do move choices and having teammates that cover different types.

If you like collecting

Use the Pokedex and the route guide on each map. Keep your active team focused and leave the rest safely in your Box until you need them.

If you like the economy

The Auction House is good for public timed listings. Direct trade is better when you already know the other Trainer. Read every confirmation before moving Pokemon, items or currency.

If you want something relaxed

Visit Games Corner, go fishing, hunt bugs, mine, grow Berries or check your achievements. Not every activity needs to be part of a grind.
